August 2, 2023

Careica Health, western Canada’s leader in sleep and respiratory care, announces two transformative partnerships for diabetes management and mobile massage therapy.

Diabetes management

In collaboration with LifestyleRX, Careica Health brings a comprehensive diabetes management solution to clients in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. With up to 83% of type 2 diabetic patients also suffering from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), this partnership addresses this significant link, leading to better overall health for clients suffering from either condition.

“We are excited to expand access to sleep apnea and insomnia treatment, significantly improving the quality of life and health outcomes for type 2 diabetes patients in Western Canada & Ontario. Our sleep health experts are fully prepared to help clients achieve a better night’s sleep and better overall health,” says Stephanie Moriartey, Careica Health’s Director of National Initiatives.

Mobile massage therapy

Careica Health has also partnered with Massago, Canada’s premier on-demand mobile massage service. Through an innovative app, this collaboration connects Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) with clients, bringing massage services to the home or office. Massage therapy offers numerous benefits for sleep quality, including relaxation, stress reduction, enhanced mood, and improved circulation, promoting a more restful sleep experience.

“We are pleased to offer our valued clients the convenience of in-home massage therapy services. With mobile massage therapy, self-care becomes accessible and effortless, helping our clients prioritize their well-being no matter how busy their lives may be,” says Angela Joynt, Careica Health’s Director of Eastern Sleep Services.
