At Careica Health, care isn’t just part of our name. It’s the heart of everything we do. From the care we provide every day to giving back through programs like Careica Gives, we care deeply about our patients and the communities we live and work in.
This year, we’re thrilled to share our 2026 Careica Gives recipients with you.
Care in action: Our staff volunteers showed up
From April 2025 to March 2026, our team gave back through our volunteer program. Whether caring for animals, feeding their neighbours, supporting seniors, or giving their time to local organizations, our staff showed up for their communities in a big way.
In acknowledgement of their efforts, we invited each of our top three staff volunteers to direct donations to causes close to their hearts:

Josh Barkley
865 hours volunteered

$3,000 donation
to Morden Fire & Rescue

Stephanie Morgan
758 hours volunteered

$1,500 donation
to StoryBook Theatre - Ellie Tims Project

Elise Sweeney
470 hours volunteered
$500 donation
to STARS Air Ambulance
Our 2026 donation fund
Our total donation fund was $80,000 in 2026! After the top volunteer-directed donations were made, the remaining funds were distributed to staff-nominated charities across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.
